SMT can develop and supply instrumentation for the measurement of in-service loads in vehicle, aerospace and marine applications.

More importantly, by combining this with the advanced simulation software (see MASTA software), our knowledge of gear material S-N curves (see test rigs), and experience in design (see transmission/axle design), SMT is able to “close the loop”, enabling accurate prediction of reliability in real-life systems.
