Mathematical Modeller and Analysts

As a result of the ambitious development plans for the technical software, we are looking for candidates to work directly under the senior analyst.

Job Tasks: The following outlines the general tasks:

Role in the team developing SMT's commercial engineering software:
	Responsible for developing engineering analysis methods and code.
	To program in C# with support/training from the software team.
Role in engineering consultancy projects:
	Sales & marketing support. Preparing technical case studies and presentations. Presenting to customers.
	Preparing technical specifications for commercial quotes.
	Project management of consultancy projects.
	Carrying out technical consultancy: technical work, report writing and presenting results.
	Liaising with a large number of technical consultants on SMT's books.
To be mentored and trained by SMT senior analyst.

Location: Nottingham

Candidate Profile: We are looking for intelligent, highly technical graduates who are seeking a rewarding, long term role in a challenging position.

Qualifications & Qualities:

	2.1 or higher first degree in a numerate science: applied mathematics, physics, engineering. PhD or master's degree preferable but not absolute requirement.
	Good mathematical ability.
	Flexible multi-tasking ability to cover variety of technical roles. Team player.
