European User Forum

SMT was delighted to host and present the first annual European User Forum in Munich, Germany. The event was a great success with 40+ attendees, featuring presentations from SMT’s technical experts and current MASTA software customers. Presentations delivered by technical experts included an overview of current and future functionality, MASTA’s application in the ever-developing EV and HEV market, and a summary of handy hints and tips in a live MASTA presentation.

Portuguese Prime Minister visits SMT

Pedro Passos Coelho, Prime Minister of Portugal and Leader of the Social Democratic Party, visited SMT's Portuguese office in São João da Madeira as part of a delegation including the British Consul in Portugal. The delegation was investigating innovation in the region's technology districts.

Congratulations to Dr Langlois on joining the BSI Committee

Dr Paul Langlois, CAE Software Development Manager at SMT, has been appointed a BSI Committee Member for the MCE/005/0-/06 “Calculation of gear performance” group which is responsible for the UK input into the work of ISO/TC 60/SC 2/WG 6. ISO/TC 60/SC 2/WG 6 is responsible for the development of international standards for gear calculations such as ISO 6336.
