MASTA Core Features
MASTA is made up of a core module and over 75 additional modules.
Following the launch of MASTA’s high fidelity, High-Speed Bearing Quasi-Static Analysis in MASTA 12, MASTA 13 brings further improvements with a new Dynamic Bearing analysis module.
System optimiser has seen major enhancements, now handling complex planetary systems and improving the quality of candidate designs.
Users can take multi-ratio designs and MASTA will create design candidates based on the user’s constraints.
In addition to this, NVH Operating Maps account for the variation in torque dependent stiffness in Harmonic Analysis.
Also, with their increased popularity, hairpin windings can now be analysed in MASTA’s Electric Machines module.
Extra additions in MASTA 13 include improvements in usability for Python scripting, added support for Ansys 2023, NVH excitation from stator tooth moments and many more.
